Waterfalls
It's almost like there are these periods where our relationship is smooth and steady, and then there are times when it's like standing on the edge of this gorgeous, wonderful waterfall and just letting yourself drop, knowing that there's a safe pool of water ready to catch you at bottom. You take the plunge and you're in wayyyy over your head, but oh man, it's exhilarating, it's breathtaking, it's just incredible and you feel better than you ever have before and the water is cool and refreshing and exactly what you needed.

Sam is my waterfall.

Just a reminder.. Yes we CAN!

I cannot recall a time I have prayed harder regarding politics.

I've come a long way from "Can't stand Obama" to "I really believe in this man."

I do. I believe in Obama and his message of hope. I believe in Obama and his message of change. I believe in Obama and his vision for America.

We can win this election.

Yes, we can.

Both of those were really great! Yes, a great deal of prayer has gone into this election, and I hope and pray we can change the world we live in. It needs change so very much. I have already voted (absentee since Bill is an election judge).

Just out of curiosity, what were the reasons that led you to not being able to stand him? I find that very curious--'splain?

I just hope you're not setting yourself up for disappointment. It's great and wonderful to have plans for change as he does and I really hope he manages to do it all... But there's a lot of things he's going to have to fight through to get changes made... and there will be compromise and sacrifice of some of his plans.

And that's just assuming he actually does win the election which I will believe only once he raises his hand on January 20th.

And you probably will!

Just out of curiosity, what were the reasons that led you to not being able to stand him? I find that very curious--'splain?

Oops, meant to answer this when you asked it. :)

Primarily it was what I perceived as a condescending tone toward Hillary earlier in the campaign, I took something as a sexist comment, out of context. It wasn't.

And then I was SUCH a big Hillary supporter, I wanted Hillary and nobody BUT Hillary.

Fortunately, a friend opened my eyes before I started supporting McCain.

Ah, I see. And understandable, I think a lot people experienced that. He was a little hard to decipher at first as he doesn't behave completely like a politician. I'm so glad you're on board--I think he's extraordinary.
Smoochies.
