Waterfalls
It's almost like there are these periods where our relationship is smooth and steady, and then there are times when it's like standing on the edge of this gorgeous, wonderful waterfall and just letting yourself drop, knowing that there's a safe pool of water ready to catch you at bottom. You take the plunge and you're in wayyyy over your head, but oh man, it's exhilarating, it's breathtaking, it's just incredible and you feel better than you ever have before and the water is cool and refreshing and exactly what you needed.

Sam is my waterfall.

And the second shoe falls...

Another call from the schools.

This time Ian is the one in trouble, he broke off the tabs that stand a keyboard up. One by accident two days ago, the other on purpose today. To "even things up". After being told to be more careful in the future and make sure it didn't happen again.

So he'll be doing community service hours when school lets back in the week after next.

Joy.

Ow. :(

Ack! You're having a bad week. I feel your pain. My 13yo mentally handicapped son pulled his pants down while getting on the bus. Mooned about 900 other students and half the teachers. Believe me, he doesn't learn this stuff at home!

I'm glad I'm not Ian. Doing community service will hopefully impress on him that you don't break stuff that doesn't belong to you. We'll see.

never a dull moment! *hug*
