Waterfalls
It's almost like there are these periods where our relationship is smooth and steady, and then there are times when it's like standing on the edge of this gorgeous, wonderful waterfall and just letting yourself drop, knowing that there's a safe pool of water ready to catch you at bottom. You take the plunge and you're in wayyyy over your head, but oh man, it's exhilarating, it's breathtaking, it's just incredible and you feel better than you ever have before and the water is cool and refreshing and exactly what you needed.

Sam is my waterfall.

Stop the Remake of The Rocky Horror Picture Show

pretty soon, every good movie that's ever been made will have been remade. I am not a fan of remakes in general, but to remake Rocky Horror seems a crime.

A crime punishable by a heinous and cruel form of torture. Like being force fed sleeping pills while watching Ishtar on continuous loop for a month straight!

They're remaking Wizard of Oz, too :-( Two cinematic travesties! Who in the world could they get to replace Tim Curry and Susan Sarandon? Who could ever be Dorothy but Judy Garland? Come on, people!

Remakes do not erase the original. If you don't wanna see the new one, just don't see it. There are plenty of people out there who are curious to see how this thing might be re-imagined, and whining fans won't stop its production, anyway.

Honestly, the way I look at it is that they still do "Rocky Horror Show" stage productions with new casts (I'd've loved to have seen the NYC production with Dick Cavett as the narrator), and this really isn't any different. It's not like they're going to burn all copies of the original movie and make everyone show this one instead.
