Tue Jul 14, 1:53 pm ET

NEW YORK – Some final thoughts are coming from George Carlin.

Free Press, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, said Tuesday that the comedian's book "Last Words" will be published in November.

Carlin died in June 2008 at age 71 and worked on the book for the last decade of his life. He collaborated on it with author and humorist Tony Hendra.

Hendra is best known for the memoir "Father Joe."

Carlin's other books included "Brain Droppings" and "Napalm and Silly Putty."

Writer's Block: Dream Vacations

What vacations would you most like to take in the next five years?

First and foremost I want to take a trip back east to see my Grammy before she dies. She's 93. I also want to see my sister, my eldest daughter, my grandkids, my cousin Joe, Tracey, Laura, and everybody.

Then a trip to San Francisco, stay in a hotel, rent a car, enjoy.

Finally, the piece de resistance... Hawaii. But not tourist Hawaii. Slack Key Hawaii. Uke Hawaii. Hula Hawaii. CULTURAL Hawaii.
