...... .:::.:.:

It's almost like there are these periods where our relationship is smooth and steady, and then there are times when it's like standing on the edge of this gorgeous, wonderful waterfall and just letting yourself drop, knowing that there's a safe pool of water ready to catch you at bottom. You take the plunge and you're in wayyyy over your head, but oh man, it's exhilarating, it's breathtaking, it's just incredible and you feel better than you ever have before and the water is cool and refreshing and exactly what you needed.

Sam is my waterfall.

My wheelchair batteries are dying. I charge them for 48 hours, and they go red after less than an hour of use.

And I can't afford new ones, so it's back to 100% dependency for me.

Borderline symptom of the day: disappointeddisappointed

Have you contacted the chair's makers, or the battery company? There might be a recall or something, and you could get them replaced. I wouldn't give up till I tried everything.

Yep, already checked.

Basically, we let the batteries run dry, and since then, they have not charged properly.

And, plainly speaking? I blame Sam, because I kept telling him it needed to be recharged every night, but he couldn't be arsed to bring it inside.

But blame aside, I still can't get around any more without somebody to push me around, and he always makes me feel AWFUL about that.

I am never leaving my house again.
