Waterfalls
It's almost like there are these periods where our relationship is smooth and steady, and then there are times when it's like standing on the edge of this gorgeous, wonderful waterfall and just letting yourself drop, knowing that there's a safe pool of water ready to catch you at bottom. You take the plunge and you're in wayyyy over your head, but oh man, it's exhilarating, it's breathtaking, it's just incredible and you feel better than you ever have before and the water is cool and refreshing and exactly what you needed.

Sam is my waterfall.

Todd Palin refuses to testify

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/palin_troopergate

Funny, I never realized you could ignore a subpeona because you don't think the charges are legitimate.

Last time I checked, refusing to honor a subpeona was contempt of court and punishable by fines and imprisonment.

McCain-Palin presidential campaign spokesman Ed O'Callaghan announced Thursday that Todd Palin would not appear, because he no longer believes the Legislature's investigation is legitimate.

Sarah Palin initially welcomed the investigation of accusations that she dismissed the state's public safety commissioner because he refused to fire her ex-brother-in-law, a state trooper. "Hold me accountable," she said.

But she has increasingly opposed it since Republican presidential candidate John McCain tapped her as his running mate. The McCain campaign dispatched a legal team to Alaska including O'Callaghan, a former top U.S. terrorism
prosecutor from New York to bolster Palin's local lawyer.

If that were true, I'd never go to court every 2 years when my ex tries to take my kid away from me. Because his charges of me being an unfit mom are VERY illegitimate.

I seriously hate people who have power and abuse it like this. >.< It makes me sick.

You can thank Bush and company. They ignored or claimed executive privilege on so many cases it's sad.

*hugs*

As I understand it, they earlier asked him to testify and he said he would. So they didn't issue a subpoena.

Now he says he won't. So he's ok *until* they serve him with a subpoena. *Then* he's in contempt and gets to argue from jail.
