I have been craving spanikopeta, but don't want to go to the local Greek restaurant because I always end up spending too much money. And I have NO patience with phyllo dough.
I invented this tonight:
Two cans of refrigerated store brand crescent rolls, opened up and spread out. Brush with just a hint of olive oil.
A bunch of crumbled up feta cheese.
Some thawed frozen spinach.
sprinkle cheese and spinach all over each crescent roll triangle, roll up. Brush with olive oil, bake at 375 for 15 minutes. NOM!
