Waterfalls
It's almost like there are these periods where our relationship is smooth and steady, and then there are times when it's like standing on the edge of this gorgeous, wonderful waterfall and just letting yourself drop, knowing that there's a safe pool of water ready to catch you at bottom. You take the plunge and you're in wayyyy over your head, but oh man, it's exhilarating, it's breathtaking, it's just incredible and you feel better than you ever have before and the water is cool and refreshing and exactly what you needed.

Sam is my waterfall.

The dog attacked the new kitten

Bear just mauled the new six month old kitten.

He broke her jaw, looks like there's some eye damage. The vet bill is going to be at least $300-$600 and likely more, and I don't know how we're going to pay it, but maybe I can return the laptop and Wii we got the kids and cancel Christmas.

And I can't just have the kitten put down because she was given to us by our friends Kelly and Susan, who were VERY reticent about parting with her to begin with, and if I have the kitten put down, I lose two very good friends.

Sam and Amy can't seem to get along. She thinks he hates her, he thinks she's too pushy.

Merry fucking Christmas.

talk to Kelly and Susan about hte kitten. Ask what they want you to do. If they want the kitten returned, try to cover a portion of the vet bill. If you think you can swing this yourself, great.

Do you have a paypal? I'd like to send what I can to help.

Second the "talk to them" idea.
