Jennifer E. Thomas
...... .:::.:.:

It's almost like there are these periods where our relationship is smooth and steady, and then there are times when it's like standing on the edge of this gorgeous, wonderful waterfall and just letting yourself drop, knowing that there's a safe pool of water ready to catch you at bottom. You take the plunge and you're in wayyyy over your head, but oh man, it's exhilarating, it's breathtaking, it's just incredible and you feel better than you ever have before and the water is cool and refreshing and exactly what you needed.

Sam is my waterfall.

Borderline symptom of the day: amusedamused

MSNBC actually mentioned--if only in passing--that there was an official time for the portraits in the White House to be changed during the inauguration.

I find myself wondering who is in charge of these things. Kinna like I wonder...does the president get, like, a first-day briefing at the White House? You know...an orientation, like at the first day of work? Watching videos on how to properly wash your hands order a nuclear strike issue executive orders and use the phone system, that kinna thing? An official setting of one's username and password on the White House computer network, and keying in your secured door PIN for the first time?
Surely there'z someone--probably a Secret Service rep--who guides the Obama family along that process, yes? I wonder what it's like having that job, President Orientation Coordinator, and how you get it in the first place.

This is where my mind goes when it's got, you know, not nearly enough to do...

Your mind works in strange and wonderful ways, madam!

I often wonder...do other people think of these things and dismiss them as dippy or unworthy of their time, or am I really the only one who wonders this stuff?

I wonder stuff like that all the time. I don't think it's dippy OR unworthy. Just a little funky and weird. And fascinating.

I like how you think. :) And I love this image macro!
