Spoke too soon, it's strep

It's almost like there are these periods where our relationship is smooth and steady, and then there are times when it's like standing on the edge of this gorgeous, wonderful waterfall and just letting yourself drop, knowing that there's a safe pool of water ready to catch you at bottom. You take the plunge and you're in wayyyy over your head, but oh man, it's exhilarating, it's breathtaking, it's just incredible and you feel better than you ever have before and the water is cool and refreshing and exactly what you needed.

Sam is my waterfall.

Spoke too soon, it's strep

Doc was supposed to call last night if it was positive, wasn't going to call if negative. So when no call came, I assumed that meant no strep. We sent Sean back to school this morning and then the doc called at 09:30 with the positive for strep result.

So Sam picked Sean up, and now Sam needs to go get cultured because he's sick as a dog too, and odds are good he has strep as well, and if untreated, will be contagious for weeks, even after symptoms disappear.

Did I mention I wish we had health insurance?
