It's almost like there are these periods where our relationship is smooth and steady, and then there are times when it's like standing on the edge of this gorgeous, wonderful waterfall and just letting yourself drop, knowing that there's a safe pool of water ready to catch you at bottom. You take the plunge and you're in wayyyy over your head, but oh man, it's exhilarating, it's breathtaking, it's just incredible and you feel better than you ever have before and the water is cool and refreshing and exactly what you needed.

Sam is my waterfall.

TV addict?

So I've gotten hooked on a couple of TV shows, to the point that I've subscribed to Hulu and am paying real green money to watch them. I've also realized, most adult programming these days is basically serial soap operas, designed to keep you coming back for more.

Netflix may be on to something with their dump the entire series all at once thing, except then you binge watch 15 episodes over one wild weekend, then you're wondering WHAT NEXT for an entire year before the new season drops. I mean, come on, I won't know about OITNB and what the hell happens to Daya for 11 more months?

Fucking sadists!

Also, I'm still a Marvel fangirl, so if you want to send me an Agent Coulson doll, I'll be so happy I'll kiss you!

I've been paying for HBO Now. Let's see, in May 2015 I splurged (was a big deal for me) and bought a flat screen tv & an apple tv device. Really-it was all because of Game of Thrones!

When HBO Now came out so you could have it on the iPad, I got it. Then it was just a matter of time and I went forward with a tv upgrade. Which strikes me as...I don't know...outlandish in a way!

Entertainment dollars.

Isn't it funny/curious/odd how so many people binge watch series!

It seems I read an article (or saw something on the interwebs, anyway), that said viewers for soap operas had fallen waayyy off. I think you're correct though--other television series fill that now. nightime drame--available any time!--over the 'daytime' drama.
